OUR OPINION
This hamlet is a medieval village perched on the hills between Cortona and Montepulciano. There are 6 brick buildings among the beautiful and spacious garden, pool and tennis courtyard. There is a restaurant on site with a spectacular terrace. The views of the rolling hills of the countryside are spectacular. This hamlet is the owner of three wineries with important wines such as Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano and Chianti classico.
"If you want to feel like you stepped into Tuscan paradise, with homemade wine and five star quality food, stay here! The rooms are large yet quaint, but the property is expansive and very romantic. It has a private feel and it is easy to see their vineyards without walking far. The location is also great. Located near Montepulciano, an easy 20 minute drive to the left will take you to the the city center, while the same drive to the right will take you to the nearby town of Cortona. The service is outstanding. From the reception to the restaurant, we felt like welcomed guests from check in to check out. The food is exquisite whil reasonably prices. It is a beautiful property that would be fit for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, and even a wedding. I would highly reommend this hotel for a high quality vacation at a great value!"

"The hotel is actually a small hilltop village with several separate buildings surrounded by vineyards. This gives you a most wonderful 360 degree panoramic view and truly stunning, peaceful surroundings. One could take hundreds of pictures of the old buildings and beautifully laid out garden against the backdrop of the Tuscan countryside. The selling point for this hotel is the garden with several lounge chairs and benches throughout to enjoy the scenery. We found the hotel more than lived up to its 3 star rating. Plenty of amenities for children and adults alike (including swimming pool, ping pong table, children's play area).
Our apartment with kitchen was clean, well equipped and pleasant to stay.
The staff is very friendly and helpful with dinner reservations. We did not try dinner at the hotel but enjoyed a wide selection offered at breakfast seated on the terrace. This was our second visit to the Hamlet and again it lived up to our expectations."

"We had a fantastic week here in one of their self catering apartments. Staff were all helpful and friendly (but be warned there is no reception in the evening) and the mini complex was beautiful and well kept. We enjoyed several meals in the restaurant in the evenings - which you need to reserve a table before the reception closes. The menu was not huge but gave a reasonable choice and they were flexible with food for our toddler. Breakfast was a good choice continental spread. The pool area was nice with a lovely view - but not that warm in June! Our apartment was clean and comforable and you could rustle up a simple meal if you wanted. The location was great, but a hire car is definately advised. We drove to Florence, Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza and several other lovely towns. We really enjoyed our stay and found the staff accommodating."
