One of our group fell ill on a Sunday morning and although it was his day off Gabriele arranged everything. It was a great relief to us all and we were all very grateful for his help. "My now wife and I married at the villa and cannot speak highly enough of our entire experience in Lucca, staying at the villa and the hospitality of Gabriele. Ourselves and our friends and family stayed at the villa for one week in May. Most people flew into pisa, we arrived in bologna - both were fine. The villa itself is gorgeous, 4 beautiful houses and a lovely annex which allowed everyone a choice of being social and or simply enjoying one of the stunning views. Perfect for the family and friends which included a spread of generations. Gabriele was a great host, nothing was a problem and any requests were always answered quickly. Following our marriage in Lucca Town hall, we had a beautiful service on the gardens over looking the amazing views. After the service, we had dinner outside, followed with a fantastic party."
